What the demo does, what’s still being built, and what we’re figuring out.
What happens during the private beta?
A small group of families will connect real schedule sources, review detected changes, and report what feels useful or confusing. Access will expand in stages so reliability can be checked before a wider release.
Does the demo use my real family data?
No. Events, connections, lodging and schedule changes in the demo are fictional. Filters and interactions last only for the current page session.
Which schedule sources are being tested?
The prototype has tested calendar feeds from TeamSnap, LeagueApps, TeamReach and other providers, plus reviewed imports from email, screenshots, photos, PDFs and voice. Each source has different limits, so the Connections page explains how each one behaves.
Does Family Assistant change my calendar without asking?
Important changes are designed to show the old and new details, the source, and any related conflict before a parent approves them. Applied changes keep an action history and an Undo path.
What happens to duplicates or conflicting information?
Family Assistant keeps the source visible, suppresses repeated copies, and prevents an older message from replacing a newer correction. Ambiguous matches stay in review instead of silently changing the family plan.
Can my spouse or a caregiver share the calendar?
Caregiver invitations and owner, editor and viewer permissions are being tested for the pilot. Filtered read-only sharing for extended family is planned for a later phase.
Does it handle messages as well as schedules?
Connected email can surface relevant changes for review. A calendar feed does not grant access to private chats inside a team app, so those require a separate supported connection or a screenshot.
What does it cost?
Pricing has not been set. Expressing beta interest does not require payment or create a subscription.
How long does setup take?
We are still testing onboarding. The intended flow is to build the family, add a supported source, review details and see the first useful schedule.
